Our Story

Two friends. Two cultures. One mission.

How it all began:

We are Tiago, born in Portugal, and Miguel from Spain. We have both been living in Switzerland for many years and share a love for the traditional delicacies of our home countries – as well as the frustration of how difficult it was to find these authentic products here. Products with soul, with history, and with taste.
What we missed in Switzerland was not just a piece of chorizo or a good bottle of olive oil. We longed for the connection between flavour and the culture of our homelands – to what we knew from our families, our childhood memories, our celebrations.

So we decided to bring our shared passion for the unique flavours of our homelands to Switzerland.

That’s why we founded E-beric.ch: an online shop that is more than just a food retailer. We travelled to Portugal and Spain, met producers, visited small businesses, and got to know people who passionately preserve what has long been lost elsewhere.
We want to connect people and bring them together at the table – with products that are hand-selected, artisan-made, and deeply rooted in Iberian culture.
