Our Story

Two friends. Two cultures. One mission.

How it all began: We are Tiago, born in Portugal, and Miguel from Spain. We have both lived in Switzerland for many years and share our love for the traditional delicacies of our home countries – just as much as the frustration over how difficult it was to find these authentic products here. Products with soul, with history, and with real flavor.

What we missed in Switzerland was not just a slice of chorizo or a good bottle of olive oil. We longed for the connection between taste and the culture of our home – for what we knew from our families, our childhood memories, and our festivals.

So we decided to bring our shared passion for the unique aromas of our home countries to Switzerland.

That’s why we founded E-beric.ch: an online shop that is more than just a grocery store. We have traveled to Portugal and Spain, met producers, visited small businesses, and met people who passionately preserve what has long been lost elsewhere.

We want to connect people and bring them together at the table – with products that are hand-picked, handcrafted, and deeply rooted in Iberian culture.
