Olive cultivation has been rooted in Valpaços since the 16th century. Since 1951, the Cooperativa de Olivicultores de Valpaços has continued this tradition. Regional varieties such as Cobrançosa, Madural, and Verdeal are used to create Portuguese extra virgin olive oils with unique aromas and an unmistakable character.
